Attunement is a one-time choice, similar to converting to a deity. Unlike converting, however, attunement is a permanent choice and cannot be undone. Attuning affects a few spells in determining an elemental type. It will determine the type of flares given with eblade, as well as the type of damage with spells such as eblast and major ewave. Lores do not affect attunement in the least.

You can type ATTUNE ELEMENT

And all those spells will be attuned to the chosen element.

You can type ATTUNE RANDOM

And all those spells will go back to randomly picking elements.

So...if you were planning on hunting in nelemar/bowels with those spells and you attuned to lightning/fire you won't be able to use them there.

It's funny being attuned to fire and hunting in places like Icemule, everywhere you go the snow just melts around you. Be careful around the frozen lakes though, you might melt it all away and fall right through.
