So every now and then we get extra pieces or items sent to us that don't "exist". We hold on to them for 180 days and then we filter them into our stock to use for emergencies, for personal use, or for times when we borrowed from stock to replace an item that broke.
Well I've been gathering some of this and some of that and now:
Old home computer
PIII 833
512 meg SDRAM
30 Gig HDD
CDRW
Windows ME ( I was too lazy to put anything else on it even when I had 2000 in my hands, I guess working on computers all day leaves you burnt out to do the little things to your home box)
New home computer
PIV 2.8
1024 meg DDR
A pair of striped 40's
DVD
CDRW
CD
Windows XP Pro w/ Office 2003 Pro (Sweet!)
Waiting on the DVDR but I have a feeling it won't be long.
Now I need to shut down and plug the new one in. Then tomorrow I'll bring home the 200gig USB2 drive and transfer all my files.
And the wife went from some POS dell desktop w/ Win 95 to a PIV 2.0 laptop with a 40 gig and 512 of DDR, burner, wireless card, etc. Also got her a port replicator so she can use her monitor, keyboard, etc and when she's ready to move she just undcoks and doesn't have to unplug any wires
