...for a second round draft pick. This is absolutely great! Now that we have a quality running back (no disrespect to Antwain Smith or Kevin Faulk ::cough::) we're going to be sweet!
If we can just resolve this lil Ty Law issue...dare I say we might just win it all again next year too?!

Wow i just went to Espn and it said it is too. Thats amazing, they might actually be some trouble for my Vikings maybe now.
He'll be injured and out for the season by the 5th week.

Ty Law is coming to the Bills.
Is anyone else excited by the upcoming draft?
I watch the whole thing, from pick 1 to pick 2. Mel Kiper is one of my role models. I wish I could make money doing what he does.

don't even watch football except for that one weekend a year....when the draft goes on...not even the super bowl..but the draft by far is the most exciting day of the NFL year...and yess i have every year since 98 every round...minute..etc on tape. (why? who knows i just love draft day)

It was a hope, not a fact, Ilvane. The Bills are becoming the place for expatriates (pun intended). And we need someone to replace Antoine Winfield.

Come now, Peam. Let's not be mean and spiteful because your Cowboys are doing nothing this year. ::runsandhides::
The beauty of this trade is...we're screwing the Raiders. Apparently some sort of deal was in the works to send Dillon there and we snatched him right out of Al Davis' grasp. WOO HOO!!! Raiders blow.

Although, I just found out we signed Troy Vincent from the Eagles.
:wtf: When did that happen?

Aside from aquiring Keyshawn to complete one of the best receiving squads in the NFL, nope.

who signed keyshawn?

That's going to be something to watch. How crybaby Keyshawn will deal with having to listen to Parcells. He's not going to be able to mouth off at him the way he's done other coaches...and if he does? I almost feel sorry for him.
I see Keyshawn throwing a tantrum and pulling splinters out his thighs from riding the pine pony for his troubles.
Keyshawn and Parcells got along like father and son, while with the Jets organization.

The best whining receiving squads in the NFL.
Keyshawn was de-activated last year by Tampa Bay.
Glenn was de-activated by the Patriots in 2001. Notice how they became a better team without him?
Too bad the Cowboys couldn't get TO.

tampa got galloway
I doubt dillon will be hurt. Hes got a shitty attitude but he is a quality back atleast up until last year. The pats still blow though. And so do senile old women who like the pats but also root of the yankees. Pick a town.

Believe me, Celexei, the Bucs are better off with Keyshawn.
Throw me the damn ball, indeed.

I could say the same about you, Tijay dear. Buffalo isn't an NYC team. Hell, Buffulo really isn't even part of New York!! It's a Canadian cesspool that was pushed off on the US, so you hush. You're just mad because the Bills are going to finish behind the Jets this year, like they almost did last year

Which brings me to my next point: it's baseball season. Who cares about football?

I am sulking a little about baseball right now, after the Yanks losing this series against the Red Sox :( I'm trying to figure out why Alex Rodriguez was chasing pitches that were like on the other side of the friggin ballpark and striking out to that damn scrub Arroyo.
When the Yanks started the season losing to the JV Squad, I knew that was a bad omen. I was (and still am) hoping I'm wrong.

A) Tijay isn't from Buffalo, I am, and I have no qualms about you cheering for the Yankees and the Patriots simultaneously, Weedie, though I am a bit confused by it.
B) Buffalo is winning the Super Bowl this year. It's a foregone conclusion. How do I know this?
Because I'll be half way across the world, without access to anything electrical, and probably won't even know the results of the regular season til mid February, let alone that the Bills have won the Super Bowl.
I'll tell you though, it'll be a crazy late March in Windhoek, when I *do* find out!

I know Tijay isn't from Buffalo. He's from Jersey! But in an earlier post to me, he told me to "pick a city" because I like the Yanks and the Pats...so I wanted to remind him that he's doing the same thing! And..I was born and raised in NYC...liked the Giants a ton, but then Pepper Johnson (my favorite player of all time) went to play in New England when Parcells went to coach there..I've taken to the Patriots ever since. However, when he went to the Jets..well..I couldn't stomach liking that team..heh. I still like the Giants..but now that I live in Boston...I've converted somewhat. However I love and adore the Yankees so it would take an act of God for that conversion to take place!

ROFL!! You had Bledsoe. It's not happening for you. Even if by some ungodly stroke of..something...you guys make it to the Superbowl...history shows that you'll choke at the end. I needn't remind you of the FOUR YEARS IN A ROW you guys went to the Superbowl and lost consecutively! ::cackle::

Theres a big difference between liking an upstate ny team and a nyc team and liking the pats and the yankees. I'm fairly sure most Bostonites will agree with me here.
Weedmage Princess
04-20-2004, 02:54 AM
What's so different? Both of us like teams that play in different cities. ::shrug:: I know of the rivalry between Boston and New York as far as baseball goes. I know Pats fans don't particularly like the Jets...but then again neither do Giants fans. ;)

Couple things here...
1. Corey Dillon has a shit attitude. He is a cancer. This is not a good acquisition.
2. If Dallas gets a second rounder from Detroit for that lump of shit they are giving away, I swear I will never buy another ticket to a Lion's game as long as the Ford Family owns the team.
3. Drew Henson is awesome, and will surpass all expectations.
4. The Washington Redskins will still suck.
5. Drew Bledsoe will be sacked 100 times this season.
