Just curious, what you pay per gallon. I feel that are prices are high, but who knows, maybe some one elses is higher.

Just pick the one closest to what you pay.

We are currently paying $2.16 a gallon where we live in California.

Is that for premium or the cheap stuff?

We buy the cheap chit at Chevron. With the free car wash we get, it works out the cheaper then if we went to say AM/PM and then got a car wash.

Not sure where you are, but I do know California prices are like the highest in the states. Which sucks. Our gas is the highest, housing is highest, electricity is the highest... blah, blah. We really really pay for the sunshine thats here.

I pay 1.95 for regular in AZ and thats having to shop around for it (meaning I drive around on fumes and then pull into the station as my car stalls)

Most places its 2.01...I can hardly afford to gas up to go to school and back, road trips this summer will be out of the question.:(

Mobil station down the road from my house is $1.79/gallon, which is where we usually get gas for the cars cause it's closest...but I try to fill up at the Hess by my job when I can cause it's only $1.61-5/gallon.

1.70 if I can find it for that cheap. Lately its been closer to 1.80.

When I started driving two or so years ago it was over 2 bucks a gallon.

Gads, Cali sucks! We here in Cali really are not loaded, but damn the prices are. It's like living in Alaska, where about 10 years ago a loaf of cheap bread was $2.50 on some damn island my step-father was staying on. (I think maybe??? Ketchikan??? -- not sure though.)

Taxes, taxes, taxes.

And half the people who bitch about gas prices are the same people who'll spend $2 a bottle for water and not blink an eye.:?:

When I was a senior in high school, gas was 99 cents a gallon. Now it's about $1.75, in BUFFALO, where everything's cheap (including the tippers).

You must be a tad farther out into the sticks then we are, or live in a tad smaller town then us. From where we live to Chico, where we got to school, its all right close to 2.15 to 2.20 a gallon.
