Box found Runestaff

So found this Runestaff in a death dirge box:

You touch the crystal with one hand, your rowan runestaff in the other hand. Tiny sparks of brilliant golden light dance across your runestaff. A red beam shoots up from your runestaff toward the ceiling. A low mellow note sounds, echoing through the room.


I guess its a defender weapon, but I'm not sure what that might mean in pratical terms for a runestaff.

Have a bard sing to it.

Told me it had a minor natural enchantment, and a minor defender enchantment, couldent get much more out of him.

A bard should be able to tell you precisely what the enchantment is. The defender ability you can figure out with field testing.

HA, it appears that the staff provides an extra 2 ds in offensive stance -- I do believe I have found a +1 / +1 defender staff.
