a barbed razern pitchfork with a long ebonwood shaft

As you rub the razern pitchfork, you feel a slight answering vibration from it.
(also good as a buttscratcher?)

The pitchfork glows with a dim light.
(like minor edge??)

It has an Avd of 28 Vs doubles
(doesn't match any AVD i see for poles)

The first thing that strikes you about the pitchfork is the weight, which is about 10 pounds. In your best estimation, it's worth around 350000 silvers. You can also tell that there is some type of metal in the structure of the razern pitchfork.

Roundtime: 12 sec.

The pitchfork is obviously a weapon built for combat. It emanates magic.

Roundtime: 13 sec.

IT EMANATES MAGIC ( you could really kill a haystack with this )

The pitchfork has about 5 enchantments. Its magic appears to be of the ARMS realm.

Roundtime: 13 sec.

2 more loresongs i've Never seen, usually it returns the bonus is +25, instead it says 5 enchantments. Never heard of magic from the ARMS realm (its in caps in song)

You sense that the pitchfork may return to its wielder when forced from his hand.

Roundtime: 14 sec.

I believe the recovery from disarm is an arms sphere efect, the dim thing rings a bell vaguely, maybe those temporary holy weapons from a while back, weapons of kai or something

The dim light is common to the returning poles, as best I can tell. The same is seen on some of the more recently released ones. Below are some shows by way of Gretchen

If you are 100% sure you were swinging at doubles and not reinforced leather (Which would be just right at 28) then you must assume it has either got the forging bonus or the "sharpening" bonus that is raffled off here or there. My money would be on sharpening as it is made of razern.

Tridents are, sorry to say, rather crappy weapons. They do plenty of puncture for eye shots, but most people want the higher heavy armor DF of spears if they go that way. They are also mostly used by professions that already make weapons return to their hands (warriors, paladins). The exception to this is of course bards, and I do know a few who like tridents specifically. If it returned when hurled, you'd have a much wider market.

All prices are what I would consider paying a fair price to buy or sell it. Take that for whatever it is worth.

I think the price hinges in large part on any other attributes it might have. If the weapon is just +26 (with the AvD) and has the typical light crit weighting of razern, I do not see if being particularly desirable. I would put it at 1-2 million for the cool it returns factor alone.

If it is either nicely weighted (decent or better), has flares, or is blessable (rare with razern but maybe) than I would consider it a nice if somewhat niche pole. In any of those cases I would be willing to shell out a good bit more. Anything in the 5-10 mil range, depending on the specifics and how the market is doing that day.

Hope that is helpful and you can count me in for a blind bid of 500k, if you were taking those other posters seriously at 350k.

- a barbed ruby-tipped pitchfork – show: The faintest of crimson sheens glistens on the surface of the pitchfork. Each slender tine ends in a serrated ruby barb, and several wavy sigils trace a sinuous line down the dark bloodwood shaft. A larger ruby, carved to resemble a leaping flame, caps the end of the shaft. The pitchfork glows with a dim light.

- an elongated sharply flanged mace – show: Seven slender flanges slope sharply outward from the elongated head of the mace, each ending in a wickedly barbed point. Curling patterns of runes and sigils have been worked into the dusky metal of each flange. A large maernstrike diamond is embedded in the center of the flanges at the very tip of othe mace, and rainbows of color flicker at its heart. The mace glows with a dim light.

I believe it was raffled as decently crit weighted and swinging it a few times I was impressed I was inflicting wounds against my partner (wearing masterfully crit padded, masterfully puncture adjusted) with low rolls.

If theres someone interested in trading a returning runestaff outright...

At DCW I would stand by my appraisal of 5-10.

I think it's worth whatever you can extract out of The Farmer.
