Friends,
My warrior, Ulaahn, has mastered tackle, tricks and warcries.
He's currently working on, in tandom, disarm, batter and berserk.
I have enough available ranks to master any one of these three quickly.
Ulaahn is a CoL master, and doesn't plan to switch to another society any time soon.
I know berserk is important for GoS warcamps, but I prolly won't be doing these as a CoL master.
I hardly hunt anymore (mostly hunting my pally), except I lead house hunts once a week.
Berserk isn't group friendly, but disarm is. For this reason, I'm thinking of mastering disarm next.
Advice?
Thanks,

In your situation, mostly doing group hunts, I'd go with disarm. Berserk is one of the greatest warrior skills out there now, in my opinion, but as you say it isn't very group friendly.

If you are mostly doing group hunts, then you probably dont worry too much about getting webbed, stunned, etc. Honestly, I think that is the biggest value berserk has - getting out of a really crappy state.

I'd still say berserk, without question. No matter what setup you have, i advocate training it first.
Even if you mostly group hunt sometimes you'll end up alone. And it's invaluable.
And it's not THAT group unfriendly...they just obviously have to follow your lead and try to keep up with you.
Furthermore, it makes you look like a fucking badass.

Ulaahn is stuck in the Landing, with occasional trips to Teras.
He's 55-trains, so I'm thinking Darkstone/banshees for critter disarm reps.
Now off to work in the rain! (Anyone else work on Saturday's?)

I'd still go with berserk. It's really one of the most powerful abilities Warriors have.
Plus, you don't have to try to track down people for partner reps.

yeah Berserk is the best guild skill. Even if you group hunt, the ability to escape stuns, webs, etc is invaluable. When I play my other toons I just forget how nice of a skill it is.

Okay, opinion seems divided between disarm & berserk.
I'm leaning towards berserk first, then disarm later, because of a reason not mentioned above.
Not only do you have to find a partner for disarm reps (which, by the way, hasn't been a problem for me yet), but you have to find a critter that carries a weapon. Berserk has no such restriction.
Ulaahn is based in the Landing, and is having trouble finding a critter to disarm. There's stone trolls (at level -- level 55), and sheruvian harbingers (above level -- sixty-something).
That said, Ulaahn is willing to relocate to a new town, if you can find him a convenient critter to disarm. Just don't send me to the Elven Nations.
All the best,

Wow, that was awesome! I just berserked banshees in Darkstone Castle for critter reps.
I used to hunt banshees when I was in my mid-fourties, and had trouble stance-dancing them (they swing very quickly). I used to return to town covered in minors.
When you can't stance-dance: BERSERK!

Do you think finding disarm partners is only going to get easier?
Don't listen to Mogonis. That's a problem for future Ulaahn to deal with.

Still get disarm ranks from shans outside sol haven? It's a minute or two walk but they have warriors, rangers and wizards to practice on if you still get skill ups
