Previous build was THW (Previously was polearm before that - as a Giant without the ability to use lances I decided it was a poor choice) - THW was honestly great, but @43 it was a huge point soak and switching to board&sword I was able to balance out a lot of the utility skills I was lacking (Climbing, Swimming, 20ranks and MOC to 35 Ranks added)
Using 1009 and 1012 in honestly a pain in the ass for looting purposes, though I am trained up to 1040 so I get 6x out of both.
The dynamics question I have is honestly that I miss the stuns THW gave me, and even at 42ranks air lore the flares are not piling up enough to mitigate this, the Damage is honestly not noticably less just crits & stuns - Allowing for 1035 facing more than one mob it's actually better with MOC.
Given the difficulties of hunting with two sonics and the lack of stun would it benifit me more to pickup a OHE Crit Weighted Weapon shelve 1012 until later or pickup a spiked/flared shield and max sbash (currently maxed feint, which I love).
1005 is great and I can cast it pretty freely as long as I dont have to recast my sonics (which lately I have been as even wearing the shield it doesnt always disapate too fast) however it is still single target and I have a lot of grimswarm to kill before I master.
Also thinking about using Song of Depression more until I get to 48 and can 410.
