My very long tale…

>> Left Pudgee in this, cause some of you like him so much. <<

You hear the subdued thoughts of Novar echo in your mind:
"Taking offers on a very special dagger. A blue ruby dagger, belonged to sergey until I

liberated it from him"

You hear the subdued thoughts of Novar echo in your mind:
"One more time, selling the sergey dagger, more valuable then the man himself. Current bid is

only 100,000 coins"

You hear the subdued thoughts of Novar echo in your mind:
"I was momentarily disengaged from thought. The current bid on the dagger was 100,000"

You hear the subdued thoughts of Novar echo in your mind:
"20 minutes left til this valuable dagger is sold. Worth 1 million coins easily. Current bid is

only 100,000"

You hear the subdued thoughts of Novar echo in your mind:
"20 minutes left til this valuable dagger is sold. Worth 1 million coins easily. Current bid is

You focus your mind on Novar and think: "please tell me about this dagger"

You hear the subdued thoughts of Novar touch your mind:
"It is a very special magical dagger. Blue ruby dagger"

"20 minutes left til this valuable dagger is sold. Worth 1 million coins easily. Current bid is

only 125,000. A bargain at that. Ends in 8 minutes"

You hear the subdued thoughts of Novar touch your mind:

An ancient gnoll keeps a watchful, though nervous, eye over the people visiting Wehnimer's

Landing's main bank, the First Elanith Secure Stronghold. Large, dirty windows allow little air

to disturb the layers of dust on the threadbare carpet. The few flickering candles around the

room add virtually no light. A broken gate from a teller's window sits in the corner. You also

Here in the midst of the town stretches the cobblestoned main bazaar, its lamplit lanes abuzz

with traders and vendors hawking their wares at any hour of the day or night. Groups of

citizens, discussing the day's events or preparing for nighttime hunts, gather around the doors

of the merchants whose shops border the square. The gilded but peeling stone facade of the First

Elanith Bank dominates this side of the square. You also see the Aaysia disk, a basket of

[Town Square Central]
This is the heart of the main square of Wehnimer's Landing. The impromptu shops of the bazaar

are clustered around this central gathering place, where townsfolk, travellers, and adventurers

meet to talk, conspire or raise expeditions to the far-flung reaches of Elanith. At the north

end, an old well, with moss-covered stones and a craggy roof, is shaded from the moonlight by a

strong, robust tree. The oak is tall and straight, and it is apparent that the roots run deep.

You also see some calamia fruit, the Smoothnatty disk, a tincture of talneo and some stone

benches with some stuff on it.

Here in the center of a broad plaza near the commercial area of the bazaar stands the impressive

facade of the slate-roofed Moot Hall, where the citizens of Wehnimer's Landing hold various

official, religious and social functions. Facing the square are some of the town's more

prosperous shops, still doing business with the many customers who still frequent the streets at

night. You also see a bonny young tutor and a large wooden barrel.

This little pawnshop is somewhat cheerier than you would expect, presided over by its

well-dressed and well-heeled owner, Kilron. A polished white marble counter is set off by

freshly whitewashed walls and a highly varnished wood floor. An antique cabinet on the far wall

holds several impressive and equally ancient weapons, some precious trinkets, and several items

================================================== ==============================

First off, I want to say I am not one for PvP, I am actually against it except for matters of

honor or family. This to me was about honor. Finis is a respected merchant throughout the lands,

and does not scam anyone. To him, merchanting is a respected profession, he makes millions doing

it, and he is proud that he successfully keeps his clientele happy. To have a twerp scam him meant

all out war.
Unfortunately, Finis will give anyone a chance, and will accept folks at their word, until they

prove that they do not deserve such respect.
I of course realize, there will be those of you that will say that Finis asked for it by buying

a weapon from an obvious n00b. To that defense, I say this; "There are tons of folks leaving the

lands, and or clearing out lockers, so you just never know."
I do have a question in all this. And it has nothing to do with anyone’s opinion if I did the

right thing. I was under the impression that slapping was assault, and a chargeable offense?
And, no, I didn't kill him again in the constable’s office for his insolence. If my items would

stay there, and I didn't have to worry about them disappearing, he would of been dead again,

unfortunately, as we all know, thats not the case.
Anyway, "The Bard" told me to post this. I told him I didn't want to, cause it was damn

embarrassing, and O! Yea! I killed a train 2... blah! blah!..., big whoop.
Mostly, I am putting this here as a warning to friends, and acquaintances. Yes, the awesome

deals are everywhere out there right now, but be careful!

Respectfully,

well, 250k worth of death, at what 3k per deed (to replace death) thats about 80-90 kills, plus you got to add the anger/humiliation factor in, thats another 100 kills, the fact that he did this while you are saving for a pay event, another 70 kills, revenge killing for every time he gets some ancient ass friend of his to wax you, about 100 kills, add in another 100 for shits and giggles/annoyance factor and thats about once per day for a year to get even, pretty fun huh? and to think that it will only take ya bout 5 minutes everyday when you start out when he is around, cause he sucks so bad.

B) It's a 1x ebladeable dagger? That's a 5x dagger, is it not?

C) I don't know why Sergey's name would be a reason to BUY an item.

Finis, red flags should have gone off when he told you that he was offered 500k for it, yet he was selling it on buy out a 250k.

That aside, I agree with whoever said to kill him enough times to take your 250k in deeds. If nothing else, finding creative ways to decimate him will make you smile at the end of the day.

1. Man, that smelled like a scam and a half from the start! Didn't you see how he was dressed?!

2. Feh to you about whispering to him about "Gods".. Weak.

3. Kudos on killing him with his own dagger. Awesome stuff there.

4. Awesome that you didn't report him, that would have been weak.

Overall though, he did keep it IG. Not bad to have the less savory characters out there (scammers, murderers). It would keep us all on our toes. Regarldess, get him again and good. Teach him a lesson.

Best part of that entire thing..

A formidable group of the town's militia arrives. A portly deputy opens the cell door with a

rattle of keys, and drags Nephros out by his arm. After locking the door, the group leaves, with

Nephros manacled in their midst.

1. Yes, I saw the way he was dressed, and I addressed that in my original post, you don't know what folks have stashed in their chars lockers, and now with the price hikes, you don't have any idea what they may be selling.

2. Yea, I agree, it was weak. In the end, I managed to make the correct decision IMHO. Though as I said earlier, I am completely against PvP as Finiswolf.

3. Yea, I totally dug killing him with his own weapon, its the one thing that made the 300K (end result of the dagger and the fine) worth it.

4. Thanks, glad I didn't as well. I learned along time ago, report means your char can't kill the bastard, slap him around, or talk shit to or about him.

And, yes, I do have to commend him for keeping it IG, and IC.

By my own calculations, he now owes me only another 249,998 deaths. He slapped my brother for asking about the bind, so he killed him too.

Then Zoleta was giving all her silvers away, and he slapped her, so she offered to give a note for his death, so Copernicus killed him, but this one don't count.

Well, the way you are explaining it now, it makes perfect and locgical IG sense. Finis will stand up for his family as well. And Finis son (wizard) is real bad about it, he goes talks to his family member, learns what happened from their perspective, then goes and either kills, or tries to kill. Either way, he feels he is making his point. Which is, dun screw with his family. While Finis will normally try and talk it out.

I'v planned and schemed for months before, before I started killing someone who wronged Omens, and when the time came to get down to buisness, they were jumpin in helping me with his friends that didnt turn on him, and we obliterated them every time we clashed. True, he could report, if he is that dumb.

He used exchange for the deal, the server logs exchanges.

I killed him, the server logs that.

He repeatedly assaulted Finis while Finis was getting his stuff. <Don't know about the server logging that - doubt it).
