MBS LOWERED SIGNIFICANTLY
There will be a Fusion Arms shop at Ebon Gate that will offer you the ability to remove an enhancive from an item (destroying the item), turn it into an orb for a relatively small cost (e.g. +3 spell aiming will be 32k, +20 max mana will be 1.12m), and then attach two of these orbs to the armor, weapons, and shields sold at the shop. These items can be enchanted, padded, and otherwise worked on. You can then charge the armor, weapon, or shield at the Adventurer's Guild, where you'll benefit from the relatively low price of recharging these enhancives (pinworn enhancives are the most expensive to recharge - armor and weapons the cheapest). You can swap out these orbs more or less at will (a 2-week waiting period guarantees no degradation of the orb).
Basically, you can boost your enhanced abilities without wearing a ton of junk and recharge them more easily, and customize your enhancives to suit you. Think of it as making your gear into adventurer's guild badges.
