What would a +25 HCW katana be worth?

3m-4m
how can that be when Fel-Hafters go for close to 8m and they are 4x HCW?

Because katana's are slash, take OHE/THW, and the DF isn't nearly the best for THW.

Because fel hafters are handaxes (The most effective OHE), while katanas are essentially one of the least effective THW's.
They slash only and have rough AvD.
And contrary to the above post, they only take THW and OHE if you intend to use them in one hand, as I recall. Two handed, they're fine with just THW training.

Unless you have yourself an old style katana. Then it would be worth more.

That's like saying a 0x claidhmore should be worth as much as a 0x handaxe with 40 points of crit weighting...
Ok i understand ..
I was just simply curious why a 5x HCW weapon was worth LESS than a 4x HCW thats all.
It's Golvern .. does that count for anything?

You can get 4x katanas off the shelf, so it's 1 extra enchant on a niche weapon base.
if it's golvern tack on extra mil maybe, some people have a hard on for that stuff (omg breakage totally coming)
i'd say the 3-4 for a 5x katana, 3-5 for a golvern 5x katana is reasonable.

The 5x katana is much rarer than a fel halfter though, which are somewhat of a commodity item, so that helps the value of the 5x katana. That said, the price quote is probably about right, as I think Android was taking that into consideration.
