View Full Version : remember me katze?

So I saw the name Katze pop up on LNET, apparently Shattered right, so it reminded me of something that happened probably 12 years ago. I was 14, him and I used to share account information (yea stupid of me I know, I don't wanna fucking hear it so save it, thanks) and one day I logged into my account and EVERYTHING was gone, so of course I flip the fuck out. I wasn't all that rich at the time but I'm guessing I had atleast 50m in shit, which back then at $14 per mil is $700. So not long after I log in do I get an IM from someone saying something along the lines of 'wtf is wrong with you, why'd you hand out all your shit earlier'. I'm assuming he was handing items out to random people to hide who had actually done this. So I confront him about it and he's totally 'fuck you' about it, I did nothing to this guy, used to hunt his sorceror and get him EXP, we used each others accounts and out of nowhere he just decides to steal my shit.
A lot of people know me on here/in this game, I can be an asshole but I'm not a thief and my word is honorable. I was just talking to someone about this situation and they informed me on what a total fucking prick this guy and his 'fat wife' are in Shattered so I thought I'd post.
Also, I send him a private thought on LNET the other day and he was answering me until I brought up this occurence, then totally ignored me.

I think they were going for like $35 per at the time if I remember right.
I'm not 100% sure but that sounds slightly high.
I used to sell for $50 per when I was 15 and 16, so that's what, 1996 and 1997. By the next year it was probably down to $30 or so and by the spring of 2001 it was down to about $20 per. From what I remember though, I could be off a bit as my memory of this time period is a bit hazy. :D

Just listened to a long, ridiculous conversation on lnet. Dominated by the wife's ignorant spewing, but basically, Katze says he doesn't know who you even are, much less admit to any kind of wrongdoing in the game at any time. I actually did a huge cut of text from lnet, to pare down and post here so you could see it first hand, and others could laugh at the spewing fishwife comments, but dammit, my sf crashed right then, and when I got Word open and tried to paste, it had poofed :-( Too bad, maybe seeing all that in one big smear woulda prompted a ban, similar to how Kreek got banned.
The main point? He didn't do it and he don't know ya.

Yes, he did say that, among many other things. First off he said, who is this guy? I don't even know him. Then more dribbled along as wife took over spewing her usual stfu's and trying to make others look as goofy as she is. But yes, he did also include what you said, exactly, but much more. Too bad I lost all that text, it would have been a fun read, for someone, I'm sure--maybe not "fun" for the OP though.
Kreek got banned, for what?
Yesterday? I think it was then, Tillmen banned Kreek. He said that he compiled Kreek's comments on Lnet to challenge something he'd said or not said, then when he looked at the cumulative text... decided he was 100% unwelcome. Guess that was what it took, seeing it all at once.

I wanted to show you his response (he and she went on and on denying you and theft), but alas, as I said, I lost the text when stormfront crashed, or it would have been here for you to see first-hand. Others, of course, said that it was your fault for trusting anyone with your stuff/account info. I've given several true friends access to my accounts and never been bitten by one. Maybe I've been lucky, or just careful of those I trust. Thank you for the response. I hope he sees it. Maybe he has a conscience somewhere in there, despite anything else in his life, and will feel badly about it. Badly enough to apologize and admit his poor behavior to you. Bai!

Katze spent half the afternoon (mostly going back and forth with Kaseopea on lnet) acting like he had no clue. "It was forever ago, I don't think I could have done it" yada yada yada... grasping at every straw he possibly could to try and convince US he didn't do anything. And of course, Queen Cuntacula was there to back him up and started spouting sarcastically about how "If its posted on the PC it must be true."
Fact is, you should never given anyone your account info... friend or foe. There's absolutely no reason to. No alter/merchant/event worth losing everything you've accomplished in the game.
Regardless of that... Katze is a douche for having done it.
Their spectacle on lnet today did nothing but cement in my mind that Katze did it and the two of them should be tossed in the trunk of a car and launched off a very tall bridge.

All I have to say about that video and the people is... one day Darwin's Law will come to America and in a very tough way. People don't seem to realize how drastically society is failing--laugh about it, but it's far from funny. Stephen Hawkings says that within a (relatively) short time, without interventions, the population will be shoulder to shoulder on earth. To me, that says start now. Hard changes are coming up fast. Just playing Devil's A--if you were born into life, knowing from birth that you would be euthanized at 50 (all would be worldwide, no exceptions as part of population control, resource availability, etc) would you "go gently into that good night" or try to hide/escape? Our instincts are bent to survival, I just wondered how we, as humans, would adapt.

I'm not sure than euthanasia at 50 would make an ounce of difference. I would imagine that the vast majority of reproduction is done BEFORE that point, and so long as the average pair of breeding humans creates an average number of children >2, we'll be in trouble. China's got a smart idea, no matter how much they're ridiculed by it.

Well, life ending at 50 is just one of the many fixes, along with not only limiting children to parents, but also having measures to prevent "just anyone" having one at all (after all... some people shouldn't have them. period). I just wondered what anyone would think about giving up life easily... or not.

Time and time again humans have been shown to explode exponentially population-wise, only for something massive to happen that bottlenecks humans down to a smaller population and the cycle continues. And also given immigration laws in various countries, and that population growth is not progressing at the same rate globally (the average number of kids two people have differs per country and not every country is outstripping the death rate), we're much more likely to end up with some grossly overcrowded countries that experience massive amounts of death due to starvation and disease while other countries remain relatively stable on the population front. Add to that a couple of super viruses we seem destined to generate and population is back on track, no need to rely on people to line up for the slaughter at age 50 (not that they ever would, ha).
In any case, LOL KATZE.
