View Full Version : Why all the buzz for the Wisconsin/Ohio State game?

What is up with all the media hype about this game? Is it because of the South Carolina upset on Alabama that people think this is even going to be close?
I'm a fucking badgers fan and I almost want to bet against them (5 pt spread, O/U 49) since I am imagining a decimation at least twice as bad as the loss to Michigan State two weeks ago.
Is this just setting up for the obvious coronation of Ohio State (especially since they'll probably end up playing Boise State or TCU in the championship and blowing them out)? Do the Badgers even have a remote shot at this? I love Clay and all, but that's all the weapons we've got. Tolzein showed that he cannot throw his way out of a hole, so I don't see how we keep the game close enough if we couldn't even handle MSU.

Wait a second. Are you telling me ESPN is overhyping the game they are carrying tonight? I refuse to believe they would stoop to such a level.

Well, apparently, the way to win was to score three touchdowns in the first quarter and then ride them to victory.

Well, apparently, the way to win was to crush their souls in the first quarter and then ride them to victory.
Fixed.

I didn't watch it just so I wouldn't have to argue with Skeeter afterward.

Not much to argue about. Wisconsin dominated them all the way around. GG Whisky.
This was an awesome outcome. Previously MSU would have to go undefeated to win the big ten, which was possible considering the schedule, but still... now we can probably lose 1 game and still manage it. It'd be a shared title but we're not exactly known for our football so its a great result. We'll be a top 10 ranked team next week for the first time since I've lived here.
And, Ohio state got to lose, which is a good thing any time of the season.

Wisconsin shouldn't have had a chance, but then the run back for a TD happened. I guess I should root against the from now on for them to win.
