View Full Version : Cobbling script

So, I'm trying my hand at cobbling. I've searched the forums for a cobbling script and I can't find one that works.
Nilandia's hangs up right after gazing at my pattern. I've tried adding %'s for the materials, I've added the materials myself, I've added an "a" in front of the book of patterns, nothing works.
Anyone have a cobbling script that comes as is, working?

So it's just hanging after you gaze at the pattern? Nothing happens after that? In that case, it's probably not your %s. It's been forever since I've done SF scripts, but I'm thinking your computer might just be a tad slow, and therefore looking for the matches after they've already popped up. I THINK (no guarantees) you can change it to this:

I never understood why SF scripts hang like that. Sometimes it seems like they just want game input. When I'm watching them and they hang...I'll just simply type "cough"...I'll cough and the script will continue on.
Does anyone know why that happens? Sometimes the script will run fine. Sometimes I'll have a coughing fit. Why does the script for SF suck?

Yeah, sometimes if it hangs up you can put the action after the matches and it will make it run smoother. I never had to do that, but I saw someone else on here post that trick. Maybe it was CRB? I can't remember.
