I have those days. I just grin and bear it, and in the end I come home and bitch about it in my journal. I feel better.
Yea i have those days. And since i'm in the military they usually suck...hard. I mean they usually involve things like being put on some insane detail (Who wants to see a picture of US servicemembers picking up trash on line in the middle of desert) or having something extremely painful happen like falling off some sort of vehicle.

Am I mistaken or did you imply it was you birthday . . If so then HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! :) :) :)
If not then please ignore that. . .
Some days When you wake up and feel it is going to be a bad one, you have to press on with it anyhow. Every day has something to it to make it worth while.
Y know , I think that seeing a movie with your child would of course be kinda hard to organise and then maybe hard to keep going in a straight line for the entire duration. I can imagine it must feel hard to do when you're sure the day isnt going too well to begin with . . . .
It's times like that , you find yourself suddenly enjoying yourself. You look at your child laughing and smiling at the movie ( which he will , I promise . . It's a damn great movie ) and ya realise why ya got up today . . .
Ah promise you that when ya get to bed tonight, and I hope ya do ~~chuckle~~ , that nomatter how the day went . . . when you look back at it before you sleep, you 'll be glad you made it. So will yer lil monkeydude as he will have seen the best film fer kids this year.
ow ow ow ow . . I can't feel my legs , cramp cramp. :(

One of those days would translate to the time I had a shitty shift on the job. Spend all day on a waterbreak..... got to go home for 4 hours then get called out for the same waterbreak that decided it didnt want to hold....stay up all night fixing said break and then going home long enough to get a shower to then turn around and put in another 8 hours before getting to go home to even get close to sleeping. Yeah that happened about a month ago that day sucked..... BOO WORK!

Those days really do suck. Maybe he won't remember it now, but in the end, your son will have a head start over most of his peers, because most of his peers' parents are going to say, "Oh, fuck it, watch some Cartoon Network" and nap on the couch every day.
