So, recently I sent an EMail to all my college buddies about my choice to join the Peace Corps, what I've been doing since I graduated last year, etc, etc, etc.

My friend Andrew responds back about how he's now dating Liz and blah blah blah, it was really good to hear from him.

I respond back....and just as I'm hitting SEND, I realize.....

I've signed the EMail "-TheE-"

I wish Yahoo had some sort of unsend thing.

Don't forget the apostrophe before saying something in an IM. And of course the occasional "look" in a chat room, they think I'm about to say something after that ("Look.... What I think is...")

I've never sent gemstone commands in other media. I've typed them in, but I get plenty of sleep, so I always catch myself.

I have often signed a document with a name that the recipient does not know me by. Le whoops. That's what I get for having 3 different nicknames, I guess.

The worst that ever happened to me was I was playing Gemstone during the kobold invasion 2 or so years ago and talking to my lab partner about our senior project. I accidentally pasted to him a shot of my sorceror casting 111 at one of the barricades and tried to play it off. It didn't work. :(

I wonder if someone called me Ed in real life, would I respond?

I've totally done that way too many times. My friends think I'm some kinda freak... then again maybe they're right. :(

Oh man, during the Spitfire I accidently pasted a cut of me bribing the one halfling to get into the special room to a friend of mine. I successfully played that one off, though. Go me.

For awhile after I got psinet, I'd be typing chat before things I said in chat rooms, and not notice until I reread what I had just typed in.

I make GS typos in IMs everyday. I try very hard to limit it to only people that play GS.. meaning I'm very careful about what I type to my 'normal' friends. Those of my friends who are less internet savvy don't even know what "ROFL" or "OMG" mean so I just have to use "lol" or type "Hahaha". It's hard remembering who knows what.

I also have the problem in real life about who knows me as "Andrew" and who knows me as "Drew". I only started using Drew about 2-3 years ago so everyone who's known me longer than that still calls me Andrew. I'm becoming less responsive to it and people think I'm forgetting my name.

Also when I called the Manager guy back that asked me to come into the interview today I said "Hi. My name is Drew and you called earlier regarding an interview on Monday?" and he said "...who?"

Apparently my mother gave them an old resume. :( I had to use my real name.
