Better in warcamps? Warrior/Paladin?

I'm trying to decide if I wanna go with a paladin or a warrior as my main.

It will probably come down to functionality. I wanna hit OTF and the like at some point, but I wouldn't mind my major focus being on warcamps.

So who's better in warcamps? Who can clear them the fastest, with the least amount of risk, if done correctly.

What are the pro's of a capped warrior over a capped paladin?

Are Berz/Guildskills really that much better than paladin's spells?

What are the con's? Warrior TD? Paladin monotony?

Just wanna get some baring and the way I've found is to ask you Guru's.

Paladins seems to be beasts in warcamps. You have a workable TD, you have spells to assist, you can beseech, you can mstrike...etc Either way, you'll still need haste to solo them.

I have to agree that the warrior needs some pretty damn nice toys, but once you have the toys, berserking is great for clearing camps.

Without the gear though, I would have to say a pali.

I'd probably have some 7x, void flaring plate and a 7x bastard axe or magic claid.

Pally would wear the same armor but use TWC.

What other toys would be needed to make either beastly?

I have to disagree with the toys part. I only had some 5x plate and a superior 5x lance and tore camps apart.

after only just a few camps, with just a few moc and berserking, i kinda get the feeling warcamps were designed for warriors.

I also get the picture of the diablo 2 warrior whirlwinding through mobs and mobs of critters pre nerf. Magic item find maxed? cha ching!!!

Having never hunted warcamps solo as a warrior, I can at least say paladins do fine in them. The only thing that ever took down Menos was RT locking warcries when a sorcerer spawned.

I think the real question you need to ask yourself is if you want your character to be a giant dripping pussy of piousness who swings a weapon wherever and how hard a deity allows..

... or do you want to be a whiskey and rage blooded killing machine, without conscious, who smashes, or perhaps slices, everything into a misty red oblivion?
