i have 2 in feint and 3 in disarm so far. seems like 3 in feint would be good enough now that im getting to the stage where i have plenty of mana for ewave. should i up disarm or start training cdefense?

and can you give me any suggestions on spell training? right now I have 35 in minor elem and 30 in mage and 23 in major elem

At 46 my warmage is at 4 Feint, 1 Disarm, 1 CDef. I'm at a similar crossroads to you. I think I want to master Feint and then pick up more Disarm. CDef is a good maneuver to train in because it has wide-spread defensive effects, but even one rank of an actual Cman (disarm, for instance) is better than 5 in CDef, I believe.

Also, don't count on EWave saving you from having to feint things. I still feint everything before I swing at it. As you increase in levels, DS grows much faster than your AS, and feint is an invalauble tool in overcoming that. :)

rank 5 of CDefense = 1 rank of defense in all CMans


Mastery in Cunning Defense is equivalent to having one additional rank (for defensive purposes) in all offensive Combat Maneuvers.

maybe 5 ranks in disarm and feint. and putting the rest into combat movement is the way to go then?

I'm doing 5 Feint, 5 Disarm, rest (1 or 2 ranks, I forget how much you can afford with 101 CM ranks) CDef, if that's what you meant.
