View Full Version : Weapon Alterations
Wanted to know if anyone has any ideas on this. I know that you can't alter a shield to look like a staff. But if you already had a shield altered into a staff could you get that "staff" altered to have a different look or would it be reverted back to it's original shield form?

yeah...I wouldn't let a GM touch that.
I would hesitate to put any previously done, now illegal alters into a GM's hands. They will almost certainly change it. Best not to tempt them.
Thanks for the responses, that's what I was afraid of. Was going through my locker and found a "driftwood farmers staff" 8x medium shield. Would be great for my character as I don't like the idea of carrying a shield around but that description just doesn't match my sorcerer at all.

There's a "ruby" floating around, 9x shield... I like your staff more.

Could you try to dye it at the dyer's tent and turn it into something like a matte black staff?

I thought GMs released a handful of shield staves on purpose?
Yes?
Meh. There was a bot running around last night, copying other people's posts and adding a hyperlink. In this thread it copied your post.

So it's a buckler? Clever disguise.
