Would anyone care to chime in on any useful mods a Rogue could use? I'm still a noob, but I'm getting a better idea of what I'm doing.
Also, any tips on Rogue build would be awesome. I'm leaning more toward Stealth. Swords\axes doesn't seem much fun to me.
Thanks in advance.

Build for what? PvE/PvP (BGs) PvP (Arena)/etc
As for mods:
Combo point redux and needtoknow are the only 2 I use on my rogue (besides my bar mod (dominos) which is standard across all my characters)

I'm on a PvE server. I let the game pick a server. I just started playing on a trial account that I had stuffed away in my Diablo battlechest, and though I'd give this a shot.

Any combopoint mod that keeps track of your combo points in a more graphically obvious than the standard UI is really what you need, as well as something to keep track of slice and dice, rupture (come Cata), and hunger for blood (if you're going assassination).
Anticor mentioned the ones he used, I use a similar add for combopoints (they're all the same, really), and forteXorcist for tracking buffs instead of needtokniow, but yeah, same functionality, NTK is probably a bit easier to use.

Oh, and bar mods are a must, Blizzard has updated their UI to make lots of mods kind of pointless, but the way they handle bars is fucking awful. I use bartender4, personally.

Ok.
Well get combo point redux and needtoknow.
As for a build it really depends on what weapons you've got access too. If you've got 2 daggers go mutilate, if you've got 2 axes (or 2 swords, or 1 axe one sword) go combat hack and slash, if you've got 2 maces go combat maces.
Stealth tree isn't real strong for PvE.

All I have right now gear wise, is a store bought Poignard, (Only lvl 16) and the lvl 10 rogue guild dagger. My armor is made through Leatherworking.(Embossed) I've been grinding on beasts and skinning for leather.
My usual routine right now is Backstab-Gouge-Backstab-Sinister Strike (If it's still alive) And Eviserate.
My talents are all screwed up, but I'm going to fix that when I get a solid idea of just what the hell I'm doing. I've been trying to read up lately but there's a ton of info to pick through.
Thanks for the mod info. I'll work on trying them out tonight and see where it gets me.

I just dinged my rogue to 80 a week ago. I just got a second spec and made it mutilate, still learning but it seems incredibly simple and high output. I've got a combat spec which is what I used to level him which I've found is fun for PVP (at least I like to use it flying above WG and use killing spree to kill people in the air before they even dismount, then parachute to the ground.
I use Ovale and needtoknow for him specifically.

Ok for leveling go combat hack and slash/swords. Find 2 swords and go to town. Sinister strike, slice and dice, repeat. Boring but fast.
