I am a full on Mac fanboi but Apple’s decision to use AT&T has stopped me from buying an iPhone. So I’ll just wait until Verizon will carry it. :D

You can do the wireless tethering with an iPhone as well, but you have to jailbreak it.

Are you sure that the iPhone has wifi tether with support for real encryption and multiple clients? I thought PDANet was the only solid solution and that is USB/Bluetooth only.

I was really close to getting a Nexus One and putting it on T-Mobile but I went for Wimax and an Epic 4G instead.

Hacking wifi AP support is not the easiest thing to do. I helped fuck with it on the Pre when it first came out, but WebOS makes it a lot easier to get to the kernel than Andriod does.

My Droid X (unless I want to pay for it) required rooting and my choices don't allow me to use anything but ad hoc tethering. Still nice, though, and hopefully infrastructure mode will be available soon. I have no time to fuck with it myself, so I rely on either people to do the legwork for me.

It's actually a built in feature on the iPhone that was disabled for some reason or another on the 3GS (in the US, some other countries had it).

Just found an article about the 4, which I have, that'll allow you to do it without jailbreaking.... for $15-$25 extra per month, depending on the plan you pick... Umm.. Go corporate America?

What would you do if your city water bill looked like this:

Unlimited Water Use: $30
Unlimited Water/Wife: $30
Unlimited Water/1 child: $30
Unlimited Water/2 child: $30
1 Toilet hookup: $15
Washing machine: $5
Outside hydrant: $20

Is this expensive or cheap? I haven't lived at place where I had to pay for utilities until last month and I have yet to look at the bill.

$15 for getting rid of your shit is well worth the price.
