Bros and gals,
I am taking a required project class and the purpose of it is to create a business plan for a startup company. The work that I do will influence this real business. It's a Section 501(c)(3) nonprofit dealing with facilitating used hockey equipment donations and funding local youth programs. What I need is e-mail addresses to send a link to a survey that will be conducted one to two weeks from now, as many as possible is great and I specifically need to pull in at least 10 personally. The people we want to participate in the survey either play hockey on an amateur level or are parents of kids who play in youth leagues. If you could PM me your e-mail address, and please, please take this seriously, I would really appreciate it. I also want to stress that this isn't some student project where I get a bunch of people to respond to a survey that means nothing. I will end up analyzing the results (we anticipate hundreds of respondents or more) and providing a real corporation with my findings.
Thanks!

The organization provides hockey equipment to local youth groups? No wonder it needs help. Here, I'll save you some time--switch to a sport that more people give a shit about.

Feel free to send me a survey... I may or may not qualify.
I played hockey for years growing up and played adult hockey recently??
If it helps you in some way, sure!
Oh, and if I can get free gear for my boy, he wants to play (but I cannot afford gearz)

Bob, you should check out hfboards.com
It's an extremely popular forum for all things hockey.

Bob, not trying to tell you how to do your thing, but these are some of the most poorly worded questions I've ever seen:
-"How often do you most frequently purchase hockey equipment for yourself or your children?"
- "How much do you usually spend on hockey equipment annually per person in your household that plays hockey?"
Durp durp.

I had no voice in what questions ultimately went into the survey and I haven't seen it yet. It's a little disheartening because I have taken more than a few surveys and been put off by a lack of care in preparing them. Thanks for letting me know.

It's fine. And I'm glad to see that so many PC people are helping. But you're right. For the future, well-worded questions make the process go much more smoothly, and increase the likelihood of people volunteering again.

The other survey thread reminded me that this exists. I appreciate all of your responses. We ended up having about 240 usable responses from which I generated dozens of pages of tables. And since a lot of people indicated that they were not likely to purchase used sticks (the focal point of the business, lol!) we ended up with a sample size just shy of 90 to represent the population of New England, so every participant counts.
