Do halaa. We used to call out the alliance to come defend/take it back all the time. Sometimes I'd go bear form and kill the guards one at a time solo for fun. Then of course some alliance would come and try to spoil my fun. :D

Rojo, if you have Wrath expansion I'd encourage you to at least try Howling Fjord --> Grizzly Hills. The music in Grizzly Hills is awesome, in a Bear Country Jamboree kind of way.

Heh once I did the epic flight quest for droods I think it took me a day to fully explore 99% of Northrend. Wait till you see the castle/fortress.

Ugh...you wont have a flying mount there will you? Go the other way. Howling Fjord without a flying mount is a pain in the dirt box. Boring tundra is better for land mounts.

You won't have one in Northrend until level 77 or 78, unfortunately. You can't learn cold weather flying, which is required, until then. On the plus side, once you've slugged it out on the ground for one character, you can send tomes teaching it to any others you have that are 68+. The first time you just have to suck it up though.

Nien's right about Boring Tundra being much better for on-foot questing, but the scenery is much better in Howling Fjord, and the music in that zone is 1000x better.

yeah, by the time you quest from 70-77, you'll easily have 1k gold for cold weather flying.

Sholazar basin is pretty incredible visually. If you want nice music in Northrend go to Wintergrasp. Best place to mine too
