Is there any way to stop the creatures in OTF from stealing your stuff? I mean, can I just keep my good stuff in a closed container or should I leave it in my locker all together? Also, I know the scouts will steal from you but are there any other creatures that do? :thanx:

You need to put items they value in a container within a container to protect yourself from theft. All ithzir will rob you, and constructs will pick up your shield if it is on the ground. Gremlocks will auto-rob you of coins and small trinkets. Kill them to get it back. Ithzir that loot someone will automatically wear a sack, even if they wear/use the item, so watch out for that. Also, watch out for attacks that destroy or erase an enemy, as they will take gear with them.

That's exactly what I needed to know. Thanks a bunch! :)

Locked containers seem to be safe too. I've never had something taken out of one, at least. Armor is also safe, which includes DB items. It's pretty much magic items, both common and not (eg, imbeddible bought at a festival) and weapons/shields that get taken.

I've never had an enhancive item taken, but the opportunities for them to take those have been pretty few so I wouldn't call those safe.

Enhancives aren't safe, unless they are armor.

One little thing to add -- if you use a neckworn container to protect from player theft, just know that neckworn containers are not protected from critter theft.

I used the double container method. Remove pouches and put in cloak, etc. Always worked well for me.
