Can someone who knows a lot about an Immolation build please post(if possible) what a newly capped skill training build looks like.
Or if there's a link to some good posts on it, that would be great also.
:thanx:

Get as much firelore as you can, and if you want to max your CS, get shit tons of MjE. This has the benefit of also helping out your leech, which you'll need to use alot, paired with wracking. Once you are able to invest in mana, you'll be fine.
Straight up immolation hunting is mana intensive, and you'll probably be pretty crappy with it until a little post cap. I'd post what I have, but I don't actually have my account back until I call them some tie next week.

Thank you for the replies!
If anyone is able to post their skill ranks at or near cap, that would be great.
Also, after Immo is used, what is suggested to finish off critters, if needed?

I generally 519 again or use a bolt. E-Strike works too.

So for an Immolation build, what all factors into increasing your CS?
Obviously the ranks in MjE, your level, and (I think Aura) and the bonus from Elemental Targeting factor into it, but is there anything else?

For Wizards, your Aura Bonus is directly added to your CS.
Training in your other spell circles will also slightly increase your CS in the MjE circle. I forget the numbers exactly, check krakiipedia!
There's also, like, unique CS-boosting effects; quartz orbs, alchemy potions (even though they suck), and maybe something else I'm forgetting.

Max MjE CS, at 303 ranks anyway, consists of:
Minor Elemental...75
Major Elemental...162
Wizard Base.......66
And like everyone else said, 2x fire lore and you will experience incredible amounts of pwnage.
And go here for clips of said pwnage:

Was that you on the officials that stated he didn't have ANY spell aiming? That's nuts for a non-warwizard. Did you fixskill into the build, or have been playing like that for a while?

That was not me. However I don't have any spell aiming yet either.

I definitely think you should pick some up. You can use minor/major fire to finish off targets instead of another cast of immo. Definitely worthwhile.

Yeah, you'll be needing 906/908 or 904 (if fire immune) to finish things off that immolate doesn't outright kill. Otherwise you can burn through your mana really quick, even at cap.

Gotcha! I was wondering what to use as a good finisher so looks like I'll get to work on that Spell Aiming.
Thanks again for the helpful suggestions.

Just as a general rule of thumb, wizards should always 2x spell aiming regardless of their build. Even war mages.
