Adventurer's Guild Gem bounty.

Does anyone know anywhere where someone sells gems to use for bounties at the adventurer's guild? If no one does, that'd be a good idea...

I think he means "where can you purchase gems to fulfill a bounty".

Do an advanced search and select the towns you want, but the gems won't always be there still. It's a pain for people to keep them stocked since shop inventory capacity is so limited. Your best bet is to get some jars from the alchemist and start saving all your gems. You can fit 1000 gems in a non-premium locker if you use 20 count jars.

What Showal and Brute said: player shops, and storage in jars. You can also keep your eyes open for bulk sales that happen periodically here and on the officials. If someone is moving from one town to another and doesn't want to take all their cheap gems with them, they might be selling a bulk supply of exactly the gems you want.

http://shops.krakiipedia.org is often better for buying gems. Unfortunately the town isn't directly listed. The KP shop inventories are updated every hour or so. That gives you an accurate inventory. Also it shows how many items are available when they're stacked. That's not always useful for gems though since they don't stack unless they're of the same quality/value.
