Hi guys

Had some questions on what may determine the sale value on items.

What I thought was the formula isnt adding up for what I have.

Example is this:

Town- Landing
Place- Jewelry SHop

32 level bard

Vaalor Elf, not a citizen of the landing.

Item sings as having a base value of 12000.

base influence stat is 100(35)
base trading skill is 128- 34 ranks

He has enhancives that will take those values to :
influence 111(40) and
trading 137(38)

So.
Hes getting the item with base value 12000, appraised for sale there for 14221, which seems higher than what I should be getting?

I had thought formula was this:
sale price = base cost x trading bonus x towns racial bonus/penalty
where
trade bonus = (trade skill +inf bonus)/12

That would have given me :
trade bonus = (137 + 40)/12 = 14.75 = 14 or 15 depending if its rounded or truncated.

sale price = 12000 x 1.15(or 1.14) x 1(elf i believe in landing has no bonus or penalty)= 13800 or 13680(if using 1.14)

which is less than the 14221 actual, so im obvisouly missing something here on the formula or there actually is a racial bonus

anyone help out or correct what I have?
