The Minnesota Twins are now officially tied with the New York Yankees for the best record in Major League Baseball.

GABA WAKA. True story: I once worked in Shakira's office for like 4 months, her entire 'Barefoot Foundation' staff was the hottest chicks on Earth, but there was much consternation about how her record wouldn't sell. This World Cup song of hers is super weird, but whenever I hear it I imagine that office being excited.

Those girls each had their own driver's licenses and boyfriends. And like, one of them controlled the left arms/legs and one of them controlled the right arms/legs. The hour I watched that show was one of the greatest hours of my life.

Only a few games left before post season at this point.

*Oh and the finish to the AL east is going to be interesting with Tampa playing NYY and then NYY playing Bosox. The one time I'll get to root for the blue jays and the bosox!

Now play in a real division and woohoo then.

You know, it used to be that each team played every other team pretty much the same number of times. Then someone got the bright idea that teams should play their devision teams more, and we ended up with stupid stuff like 2 and 4 game series. It was those idiots in Boston and New York who wanted to see more "epic" series between the Dead Sox and the Stankies. The only thing epic about games between those two teams is the length of the games, as neither team seems able to stop strutting long enough to swing a bat in a normal timeframe. That and they force their fans to watch more commercials between innings.

So if being in a weak devision is an advantage, you can blame that on the idiots who decided to weight season play towards division games. Meanwhile the Twins have the same record with a fraction of the budget, and miraculously somehow fans who aren't wealthy can afford to attend a game.

The Twins are where they're at because they have a damn fine system for running their club; better than any other team in the major leagues.

Id say the Phillies are doing a pretty good job as well. As for the crazy prices of BoSox and Yankee tickets.... I can pick up lower level seats maybe 15-20 rows behind a dugout for like $35... Phillies have sold out 119 straight games for a reason.

Cheap baseball is amazing. In college there were Twins seats on Wednesday nights for $3 and it was $1 hot dog night. Also the Metrodome was like a beacon for hotties.

I would really like to know where you get your tickets. I paid face value a few weeks ago for infield grandstand seats (Sox vs Rays) and considered myself very lucky.

I don't think its fair to compare between Boston and Philadelphia in terms of ticket prices.

Don't blame me I'm a Rays fan since the first day.

All I know is that the educational systems for the divisions outside the northeast are lacking.
