I don't know why it does this, but it happens ocassionally. It tries to get the short sword, but gets it in the left hand. When the sword's in the right hand it goes into the pool. But the past 4+ hours the script often times hangs up on this, and it happened again. Does anyone know a way to fix this?? Or perhaps fix go2?

(over and over. Sword is in left hand, not right. )

thinking about it, if there's truly nothing wrong with it, I could make a script to swap hands or something..maybe?

Here's a better description on what's happening.

[Gorge, Intersection]
A large stream, or perhaps a small river, has carved a deep, narrow gorge into the native sedimentary stone here. The walls of the gorge are almost vertical and provide no purchase. In places, the limestone walls turn to glassy marbleized outcrops, as though some intense heat or force had crystallized or fused the rock together. Such patches make it impossible to climb your way out. You also see a pool.

Apparently, when you arrive at the pool, you have a claidh in your right hand and a short sword in your left hand. Why is that?

Oh, because pre-hunt command I use "get claidh" for hunting.

Would taking this out fix it? Anyway to make go2 take out the right weapon?

just leave your short sword stowed

If you are holding a claidhmore and come across on obstacle which requires you to have both hands empty (or requires a short sword) go2 will handle that shit, and then pull your weapon back out

In pre-hunt replace "get claidh" with "stow all, get claidh". Then that amazing and difficult-to-use command will... wait for it... stow all the stuff you're holding, including any pesky short swords, before getting your weapon.

tangentially related to this, go2 thinks you need empty hands when going to otf and swimming the muck. You don't. Every time I see it stow and get gear I cry a little bit for the unnecessarily wasted enhancive charges.

I was told someone lost their gear when drowning on the swim to OTF.

Also, didn't they change it so getting enhancives out or wearing them didn't take a charge anymore?

The game mechanic is if you manipulate your gear while swimming, while in the water, you drop it, and then must "search muck" to find it. If you just swim, you don't drop it. Its only if you get messed up and decide to stow it or something after already being in the water.

You've got it the opposite way on enhancives, only getting (held enhancives) and wearing (worn enhancives) are the verb methods for draining a charge.

Adding an "open [container]" before your "stow all (or for some reason I'm a freak and use 'stow right, stow left'") assures that that won't fuck you up as well.
