Anyone having issues accessing the play.net site? I haven't been able to get onto it all night, and I can't log in through the lich entry screen. I'm wondering if it maybe has something to do with Ruby? Would that even effect the play.net address though?

Soo....all other sites work fine. I get this when I try to get on the site:

The connection has timed out













The server at play.net is taking too long to respond.








* The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few
moments.

* If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network

* If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure
that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.


Thoughts? I've changed nothing on my computer since last night but now its completely unaccessable.

You're not the only one with this problem... are you in the Phoenix area? I have a buddy who can't reach play.net either.

I'm having the exact same problem.....hope it starts working soon I'm currently remote desktopping and my scripts are gone and its laggy do to a slow connection it reallly blows

Maintenance downtime only just started though, wouldn't explain the issues Shari is having. I'm with Dex, it's Prime's way of telling you to come back!

The scheduled maintenance was for guys. There has been a special announcement for like a week on the Play.Net site. They're taking down all the games and they will be back up individually. Everything is supposed to be fixed by noon.

I think mine had to do with a Java update. I did a system restore point and then was getting these pop ups about Java. I uploaded the current version and it seems to be working now.

Dex, come over to the better side...You'll like it, I promise...I know it feels weird at first but you'll grow to love it.
