About to start training in weapon bonding and i was wondering what everyone thought was the best to use. Weighting, Flares, perfect etc?

i swung a claidhmore for most of my life, but everyone was like, you douche bag, use a maul! So I'm trying out mauls.

I didn't want to spend too much silver on any single weapon in case I lost it, so I bonded to a +15 decently crit weighted maul, which only cost me 1.5m.

I know, I know, now I'm a douche bag for not using a perfect maul! Or a 4x heavy crit weighted maul that costs between 15 to 20m.

For the undead I use a superior 4x maul that only cost me 200k (not bonded to this weapon, of course). Again, I didn't want to spend too much coin on a perfect weapon, in case I lost it.

My Paladin is Paladin-bonded to a 4x superior rolaren maul, which only cost him 200k. It's now sanctified, and has pally flares which work on both the living and the dead.

Just my 2 cents,

Honestly for a warrior, if you have a nice weapon use it. Whether or not it is a Claidhmore (heck my warrior uses a +9 claidhmore he found on a critter), a Maul, a Mattock(which I think are reasonably priced) etc etc. When you berserk you will destroy creatures.

I used a 5x two handed sword from 30ish-80ish. Currently using a +32 perfect maul. I used my bonding always on a blessable weapon because I am in Voln, and undead aren't always critable.
