a sephwir composite bow

3lbs, 6x

It has a bonus of +30 from a normal bow, and the way it vibrates in tune with your voice tells you that it requires skill in ranged weapons to use effectively. It also has some type of special ability, but you can't tell what yet.

The harmonics generated tell you that the bow assists its bearer with aiming attacks at range.

Heavy Sighting, as per usual (thanks Tolwynn!).

CB: 35m Vandruil SOLD
BO: 50m

EDIT: Also willing to take USD @ $6 per

Hunt you some Triton Magi (long bow users) or Destroyers (maul/claid users) and you'll have a higher propensity for finding said weapon with a rare material; that's how I found both my ora claid (destroyer) and illthorn/sephwir longbow/compbow (magi).

I'm still waiting for a golvern claid to be found of a hob. Even though they use dull claids that have less crit weighting, they _could_ spawn a golvern claid, I think, with a higher frequency as they have claids as their most frequently spawning weapon? Or Reivers spawn with claids too?

Sidebar: the Reiver invasion was laaaaaaaaame, but I miss Mekthros and Wulfhen. And the late GSS, for that matter.

ETA: I found a golvern rapier and sold it for 35k at the pawnshop because while golvern is awesome, rapiers are stupid bad w/o some kind of modifier.

Even worse, I found a golvern cudgel. Even the pawnshop wouldn't give me 35k for it.

I've found a shit ton of golvern in my day. A dart, a cudgel, a hook-knife, a backsword...etc Best I found was a bastard sword with +6 OHE and +4 health recovery.

On topic, nice find Dan. If I had an archer, I'd be bidding.

I thought sephwir normally genned at 5x- this is a heck of a find if so. Composites are way underrated.

They normally do, yes.

Seems like normal treasure items can gen up to +5 from the natural bonus. Don't know if that's been confirmed by a GM, but it is pretty consistent from what I have seen.

I found a golvern whip just recently. Add that to the list of worthless finds.
