Archery or..shield/brawl?

I am trying to decide if I wish to stick with shield/brawl with my main gal, or switch back to archery. Thoughts..pros and cons?

I don't know much about ranged weapons, but my main character is a brawling empath. Voln fuing and healing is a fun combination. Plus with empaths slated to get mental base, keep in mind thats going to make them monk-like. And monks use hand to hand combat. I'm a little worried that's going to ruin things for us brawling empaths, but that's for another thread.

Ain't happening anymore. Empath's are sticking with MnS and MjS.

You don't want ranged with an empath. No 400's circle for set up and AS.

Web bolt, bind, fire spirit, and interference are all good setups. 1130 gives the AS boost. Ranged works fine for an empath, but you should 2x perception, which pulls some of your MTPs away.
