I've had people ask me what kind of price these elemental runestaves run and I have no idea what to tell them.
an ancient glowbark runestaff
+22, holds 40 charges of Hurl Boulder (510) and recharges 10 uses per day. You must be ATTUNEd to the earth elemental for this staff and must be a wizard.
There are 4 staves in all: earth, air, fire and water.
When all four of the staves are in the same room, it's said that there will be an effect akin to a mana focus. Since we've never brought them together, we can't say for sure.

Spell access breakdown:
Air - Hand of Tonis (both warding version and bolt version, dependent on stance)
Earth - Hurl Boulder
Fire - Major Fire
Water - Major Cold
Air/Earth - Sandstorm
Air/Fire - Firecloud
Air/Water - Major Shock
Earth/Fire - Boil Earth
Earth/Water - Major Acid
Fire/Water - Steam Bolt
When all four staves gather, they automatically create a Mana Focus similar to the spell.
WAVEing the staff casts the currently set spell.
TURNing the staff will adjust the spell setting to another one that currently is accessible (note that unless other staves are present, only one setting is available).
GAZEing at the staff shows its current spell setting.
They do a few other scripty things: you can LEAN on the staff and it'll allow you stand up (if sitting or prone), tap it and possibly some others
