Can someone please fucking help me find an update or utility for this shit.
It's obviously too complicated for my flaccid brain.

Not hard to find using the chipset model ID.
Although wether you trust any site that isn't specifically intel is up to you. Intel's site driver updates seem to skip right by yours. Unless I'm reading something wrong. Using a cheap cell phone here.

Is this inside a sony vaio?
Yes. This one in fact (I've kept it alive many many years now) But I'm having some issues with pci and agp devices on and off and it's pissing me off.
I'm running xp sp2 now currently on this box.

I've done that dipshit about 50,000 times and there is no direct fucking solution or there are 50,000 different fucking solutions.
I even called sony and they said tough shit. Send us your box and we'll do it. Cock smokers.

FFFFFFFUUUUUUU!
Disclaimer: Not particularly advanced shit, but be aware that if you're a fucktard you could completely brick your shit.
I got bored so I read a few links.
1. Have you been here yet?
http://ciscdb.sel.sony.com/perl/select-p-n.pl#PULLDOWN
2. Have you tried the viaos shared library?
3. I also read that the P4SD-VX is basically Sony's P4SDX, Sony's VX standing for vaio.. Continue research. Verify correct chipsets, etc.
Link for files http://www.bioticaindia.com/p4sdx.html
4. Failing that, i'd research how to use a generic flashing utility with a boot disk with a bios from the bios manufacturer. I'd be VERY cautious and try to verify as much as possible. Have you tried picking up the phone and actually calling? Don't rely on solely on the internet.

Bah. Sure, just give him the fish and don't teach him how to fish.
I might be slightly jaded due to being tech support for the entire family. I make them learn.
