I got back alive!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, thankfully. I'm sorry about the NY thing. I got back home and the first thing I checked was my safe...with fifteen Yankee tickets sitting in there. Then I beat the shit out of Jess for not sending them to Ben (just kidding, she's gone for Officer stuff for the Navy). /Edit: you can punch my Jess avatar in the face if you'd like.
Now that I know that I'm done for good, I'm planning something good for everyone I let down, since I feel like a complete ass. Get ready for another tri-state get together.

I'm curious why you were able to log onto the PC multiple times in the days leading up to the get together but for whatever reason couldn't even leave a 2 second post saying "Hey, make alternate arrangements". It's not even about free tickets (I think all of us had been expecting to pay in the first place), but that had we known in advance that we needed to buy tickets instead of relying on you, we could have gotten better seats for cheaper. Instead we were left a few days before the game trying to scrounge up decent seats for a decent price. Not cool.

Living in them. You're probably thinking of the goofy mainstream stuff like Arsenio Hall and what not.
The attitude was more relaxed, economy was booming, we had RATM, The Pixies, etcetera.

I hate that song. For a couple of years, it was everyone's graduating song. Whenever there was an auditorium gathering concerning teen suicide or a memorial service for someone, that song was played. Make the pain end.

1. The guy is way douchier than I remember.
2. I think that video was the inspiration for Paul Blart.
3. I still have that CD somewhere...

Like I said, I feel like a complete asshole. I payed for 15 tickets that never got used. I left, giving the woman of the house EXACT instructions to send them to Ben. Then she got called up by the Navy and had to leave too. Not only did I miss the NYC thing, but also had to cancel my wedding. (It's a ton of fun sending out 150 cancellation notices.)
And cheaper than $0? Would you like to work for me flipping tickets? The last person that I thought would be hating me is the mighty dinosaur. Like I said, I'll make it up to everyone. Sometimes life>anything. I tried, I failed. I still love you :)

Just a couple things.
1, I don't hate you. Mostly I find the situation aggravating.
2, I harassed the shit out of Ben to find out what was going on. I know that he got a blank text message from you only a couple days before the get together. This and the fact that you had been logged onto the PC in the days leading up leads me to believe that you weren't completely cut off from communicating with us. Even just one sentence saying hey it fell through would have been appreciated, and the courteous thing to do.
3, I didn't pay $0 for my seat. I ended up paying $40. Had we known even a week sooner that we'd need to buy our own tickets it would have been cheaper.
On my way into work I was thinking about what I hoped to accomplish by posting in this thread. I know/knew what I'd like and what will likely happen are very different things, so honestly, I guess it's just for the sake of expression.
