On winning his 1st major. That putt he made must have had ridiculous pressure.
:wow:

<<I'm not the only one that watches golf.>>

If this is true, the little respect I have for the general populace is now gone.

Tiger let him win. Let's give him another Cadillac.

I was going nuts for him, not really the one play, but I gotta admit the way it rolled in was awesome. If you follow the PGA you know why it was so great for him.

I don't usually watch golf, but I actually caught the last few putts. Phil's put was rediculously good/long.

And Tiger didn't let him win, Tiger is in a slump

Golf is one of those things where people either love it or generally ignore it. A skill sport for anyone to play, I personally love playing golf. Many colleagues at work share the same passion, although it is to a degree, still a white collar game.

A lot of people knock on the sport as being not a real sport, and on one occasion I had the joy of bringing someone to a course that felt that way, and after carrying a 35 lb bag for 7 miles up and down some hills, he developed a new respect for casual golfers, perhaps not as athletes, but at least a respect for the skill needed to play the sport.

I can't say I was rooting for Phil, as I think he's had a bit of arrogance to his game in the past, the new Phil was a fresh start, and I can't say I was unhappy to see him win. Woulda preferred Els though.

I was happy for Phil, he's one of the few golfers who seems to really enjoy being out there.

Golf is for fat men who can't break a sweat.

The only thing worse than playing golf? WATCHING IT ON TV.

Could Phil's putt come any closer to NOT making it in on the 18th though? A hair left, and it woulda been a playoff with Els, which I guarantee you, Els woulda won.

My man Vijay finished six strokes off. :( At least he fucking whooped Tiger's pathetic ass.

My dad, who has wasted many a Sunday with his ass planted on the sofa watching golf, said it was the best golf he has ever watched in his entire life.

He was so "moved", he's sending me a tape of it.

I'm pretty pumped Phil won.
