Joining the Guild

Sorry for the newb question, but how do I go about getting an invite into the guild? Midgar's tutorial says that a runner will eventually invite you.. is this the Runner in the landing? or a different, special one?

In either case, my rogue is 20 and has not receive any such thing that i know of. Is there a way around this? Note, this is in shattered, so I can't get an inv from a master.

You probably missed it in screen scroll or while afk.

I cant remember if you can bribe your way past the door guard. Usually he'll either bounce you out or whisper that you can enter for a price.

don't know how they do it in the landing, but in Vaalor, the runner gives you the password for getting through the door after you pick the shed, and then you're in.
