never heard of a jar like this.. can ya give a lil info? like weight, is it wearable, can it count as 1 item if stored in locker(doubt it), does it matter weight of each item, etc

These are the same as the jars sold by the alchemist except they will hold 50 gems of the same type instead of 20. The jar and contents all count as only one inventory item even when full. Not wearable.
