Books are for when I have a job and time to kill.
Jesus has been dead for a long time. So I find it hard to beleive that he loves me personally. Then again theres big girls out there that love me, that doesn't mean I owe them jack.

It is by Dan Brown, yes.
From what I hear, it's about the Vatican Secret Archives. Basically, where the Church buries all its secrets which it doesn't want anyone to know, but isn't willing to destroy, because it pertains to matters of faith.
They exist, but only the Pope and a few select others are allowed in, barring special dispensation from the Pope.

It takes place at the Vatican, it's the first book with Robert Langdon in it. Da Vinchi Code refers a few times to it, so I suggest reading that one first to get everything in Da Vinchi Code.
