A XXXXXXXX swings a metal-banded mace at you!
AS: +340 vs DS: +305 with AvD: +34 + d100 roll: +100 = +169
... and hits for 18 points of damage!
Blow raises a welt on your left arm.
The guiding force leaves a XXXXXXXXX.
mace vs augmented chain DF is 0.250.
raw damage = 169*.250 = 42.25
critical damage = 3
42.25 + 3 = 45.25
actual damage = 18
redux = 18 / 45.25 * 100 = %39.78

I found another post so I think it's supposed to go like:
Success margin: 69
DF = 0.250 (mace vs chain)
Raw = 69*.250 = 17.25
Crit damage = 3
Total damage = 20.25
Total reduced = 18
Redux = 1 - (18/20.25) ~= .11 or 11%
That sounds much better considering the number of spells I have for my level.

You're a ranger, so the spell hindrance matters more than the RT. 50 ranks for RT, 60 for maneuver, 70 for spell hindrance, as I recall.
