Having just completed all of Dead Space's trophies, I realize this is the first game I've actually done so. It made me wonder what games you people have maxed out (PS3 or 360). List them here, and we will see what we all have in common.

I never gave a rat's ass about trophies or achievements. Most of them I see as just a way to artificially extend the game's life for gullible people, with some exceptions.
Not that I'm calling anyone gullible...or am I?

The last game I did this for was FF7 so so long ago. I did the thing where you level them all up to a retarded degree so you can beat those three ultimate weapon things or whatever. And there was that one underwater that you had to get the special item so you could do it in 15 minutes.
Looking back... I could've done something better with that time.

Oblivion and Fallout 3. Just anything that has to relate to game difficulty and quests. Stuff like ... Going 200MPH on a bicycle and getting hit by a truck, then flipping over 23 times while shooting a squirrel with a rocket launcher, on a needle-thin telephone pole, and then landing on top of the same telephone pole while doing a wheelie for 2 minutes in a tiny space for the "Inconvenient Armstrong with a Touch of Explosive Rodent" award crap is dumb.

The last game I went through every level on every difficulty was Halo. I was going to complete FF12, but after it took me 4+ hours to kill the Hell Dragon {who has like a few million health points}, I decided not to waste time killing Omega Weapon {who had tens of millions of health points}.

Did you guys get all the achievements for that game? I played the crap out of it, but a lot of it looked to be online achievements, and I never bothered to play online. I agree that beating it on Legendary is a feat, though (1 player, not two)

Actually I thought beating it with two was harder, because there were twice as many chances to die.

You can't really count 2 player Legendary as hard, really. Just tedious. You have one player hang back, and send the other player on suicide runs to clear out as many possible enemies before dying and respawning next to the other guy. If you DON'T do that, I guess it could be challenging, but that is like saying Gemstone is hard if you DONT use armor when you hunt (as a sqaure, you picky bastards).

Hmmm, I thought Legendary was the difficulty level where if one of you dies you both have to respawn from the last save point. Whichever difficulty level that was is pretty ridiculous.

Hmm. Maybe that was one of the Halo's, but certainly not Halo 3.

Yeah, not 3. I haven't played 3. It was either 1 or 2.
I remember me and my brother fighting the end boss for like 4 hours. Don't remember if it was 1 or 2, just that we had to jump to a platform the boss was on.
I also remember fighting through the stages with the zombie things was pretty difficult like that; lots of respawns resulting from them exploding. {Pretty sure that was 1.}

I 100% completed Gears of War, and Lost Odyssey for the 360.
About 80% done with Folklore on the PS3.

There were a couple of the 200-800 credit games on xbox that I completed 100 percent. Magic the Gathering and DefenseGrid come to mind.
Other than that, I think Fallout 3 has been the only one. But that's not including games like FFT, FF7, and a shit ton of the other PS and earlier games

100% - well, the ones on 360 with achievements are easier to keep track of, but off the top of my head, definitely Super Metroid, Metroid Prime, Zelda: OoT, and probably all of the 16-bit Super Mario's. :P On 360 there's Viking, Fable II, Oblivion, Pac-Man CE, Banjo-Kazooie, Gunstar Heroes, Castlevania: SotN, Golden Axe, and.. Turtles in Time. I usually don't bother doing every single thing in a game, though. My 100%'s all come from playing the crap out of certain games that I love. I wanted to 100% FF13, but - dear god. The end-game content is just far too grindy. No thanks.

On the 360.. Fallout 3, BlazBlue, Shadow Complex, PuzzleQuest. I'm actually really close to Mass Effect 2 (47/50) and Assassin's Creed 2 (46/50). Meh.
Some games are just absurd and require hours of doing nothing else but grinding specifically for achievements. No thank you. Bethesda had it right with how Fallout's worked.

While not the most recent, my favorite 100% was GoldenEye for 64. All the cheats unlocked, all levels unlocked to 00 mode.
More recently I've figured out that it's not worth 100%ing games, I like playing for achievements sometimes, but some of the absurd grind out shit isn't worth my time, I'm too far behind on my list of games I want to play as it is.

RPGs are pretty terrible about grinding for Achievements. However, there are games like people mentioned, such as Fallout 3, that are well done. You will have to go out of your way to earn some achievements, but not terribly so.
Dead Space was pretty well laid out achievement wise. Killing 30 people with each weapon type. Completing all boards, completing sections of the game at over 50 shields, etc. The only questionable one (which I actually enjoyed) was beating the game with just the plasma cutter, which is arguably the best gun in the game anyway. You could get all the achievements in the game in 2 run throughs if you wanted to, though three would make it easier. Great game...I highly recommend you people go back through it before the new one comes out Jan 15 2011.
P.S.
If you preorder Dead Space 2 on PS3, you will get an HD version of Dead Space Extraction to play using the new motion technology. Should be pretty sweet.

I got all the coins and secret endings in SMB Wii, so I now have the five shiny stars on my save log (nerd boner). I have 99 lives on every character, and I was going to replay the red mushroom houses until I had 99 of every item, but that was boring. I'm up to at least 40-something on each item, which is more than enough to goof around with when friends come over.
I'm playing lego Harry Potter at the moment, and I intend to 100% it. The lego games are very well designed to keep the extra stuff entertaining, imo.

On xbox 360 the only game I've completed 100 percent is Arkham Asylum. I'm working on Red Dead, I have everything from single player but the free roam ones are a lot trickier.
I lose interest too quickly in most games to pursue 100 percent completion. Once I finish the main storyline I'm done, most of the time.

I didn't get 100%, but I did beat all of the challenges in RDR. Killing a grizzly with a knife was a bitch, until I found out that you could shoot the fucker a few times to soften it up first. Even then it was a bitch, since bears are apparently pack hunters in that game.

Love me some zedla. I've beaten link to the past (100% complete) dozens of times. Whenever I get a lull between games I'll fire it up on emulator someplace.
A couple summers ago I got into a kick and started playing all the way through games in a series. did all mega man first, then all of final fantasy (to FF7)
I may do that with Zelda games now. As in, i'm downloading majora's mask as we speak.

A few years back I remember doing 100% on Twilight Princess. That one fucking fish you had to catch, in particular, definitely took me a night. And there was also a marble game you had to play with the wiimote that had some absolutely impossible fucking levels. Good times!
