Meet The Bleeding Noses! I like to do an early early team, gives me a chance to watch certain people throughout training camp. Basically don't get hurt, don't get hurt! This is a public cbssports.com league. 6 pts per td, flex w/wr or rb, 12 teams. I had the 7th pick.

-Peyton Manning - 2nd round
-Kevin Kolb - 8th round
-Ryan Grant - 3rd round
-Jonathon "The Daily Show" Stewart - 4th round
-Brandon Jacobs - 5th round
-Tim Hightower - 9th round
-Arian Foster - 11th round
-Andre Johnson - 1st round
-Pierre Garcon - 6th round
-Steve Breaston - 10th round
-Donnie Avery - 13th round
-Tony Gonzalez - 7th round
-Saints DST

Here's a couple of notable things that happened....

-Reggie Bush was taken before me in the 3rd round, allowed me to get Grant. That got a few laughs. Bush went ahead of Pierre Thomas
-Michael Turner went 4th, over Ray Rice and Frank Gore
-Vernon Davis went in the 2nd round. I just noticed that now looking at the draft
-Mendenhall fell to the end 2nd round
-Jamaal Charles made it to the 4th round
-The Jets DST were the first ones taken in the 6th. I love the cbs public premium leagues

Love when guys take a QB early. I'll take Cutler in the 6th-7th round and put up comparable numbers. I think he'll be money this year in Mike Martz's offense. Seems like 7th overall may be a bit high for any WR this year, too. Surely Frank Gore was available there. SF schedule is very fantasy friendly this year in terms of rush defenses they'll face, and he catches a ton of passes if you get points for that. If not, maybe Michael Turner was there at 7? I'd even go Steven Jackson at 7 before any WR, though Johnson is probably the best option at the position even with the return of Owen Daniels. Overall, though, not a bad squad for taking a WR and QB 1 & 2.

Edit: Grant and Stewart at 3 & 4 were GREAT values there. Well done.

A few years ago I took Tom Brady and Randy Moss first and second... what a mistake!!

the 50 td year or the year after when everyone did it and Brady got hurt in the first game of the season? If it's the former, did it win you the league?

50 TD year. No I didn't win the league but I also made less than 5 moves all season because I don't really care about fantasy sports. That doesn't discredit how many points they scored week after week.

Gore was gone, Turner went 4th. I wanted Gore sooooooo bad at 7. Thought I'd get him or Turner.

Cutler's a joke. There's no way you'll get comparable numbers to one of the top three from him.
