My rogue is rapidly starting to outgrow Grutik down in Zul Logoth, and I was wondering what yall would recommend moving to next and in the near future. What's worked well in yalls experience?

I'll be afk-hunting most of the time, if that has any bearing on your recommendations.

Gargoyles and Sheruvians. Or wasps on teras.

good to note that wasps are funky when it comes to aiming. Certain weapons just don't work aimed on them. ATTACK is your friend.

sprites and bendith are pretty easy prey.

Very, but the tusked ursians are a bitch to hide from.

Other than the fact that wasps are surrounded by Pyrothags, that area is just gravy, I forget exactly what level Kiramon are, but they're just exp bags (were, I haven't hunted them since they started to flare, lightning flares may make AFK hunting there a bad idea), and the Thraks/Wasps and then eventually Pyrothags make for a very good durable (lots of levels) hunting area.

Sheruvians, squishy good loot and swarm

They fixed that (being too small to aim at just receives a penalty of sorts now)... and the wasps in the village are not surrounded by Pyrothags, but you might want to have your script run from shoots and be able to deal with the sweep attack from lizards (and ignore them because they can point you if you attack them)

In Icemule: snow crones, frost giants, and lesser ice giants. They're ridiculously easy for rogues.

I reckoned the tundra and storm giants were much easier.

all of those break stuns, and have one or more creatures capable of casting CS spells or other deadly things.... not exactly good fodder for AFK scripting.

And giants cannot be one-shotted due to their height.

Arctic manticores kind of sour the deal. They have a 4-5 second RT and they tend to run around a lot. I can't count the times that I was caught in the open and got hit by a manticore that entered a room while I was in RT. Their flares are ridiculous too.

I feel like the clouds are more dangerous. I hunted that area as a rogue from levels 30-45. I never noticed that snow crones cast anything CS-based until I brought my wizards in there. Whatever it is they cast, it's ridiculously rare and they're reasonably slow so they probably won't get the chance to cast it in the first place.

Might not be first rate for AFK scripting but it's not bad.

walk if GameObj.loot.find{|thing| thing.noun == 'cloud'}

Clouds aren't a problem AFK.

You were probably using slower and heavier weapons than me. Lessers were a problem for me because I often couldn't get a disabling crit on them, but manticores never caught me like that. Legged manticores don't run anywhere ;) It wont work if there is someone else going round finishing off the manticores, but when you have the area to yourself it is easy to neutralise them.
