As of this post, we have made the following updates to the Combat Maneuvers Lists and the combat guild skill system:
Increased success rates for characters that are undertrained in the Combat Maneuvers skill. This change is effective for all direct attack maneuvers, whether guild or CMAN learned.
Changed the Combat Maneuvers skill rank determination for guild skills. Training in the guild will now impart a bonus to one's effective CM ranks when activating the related combat guild skill. The bonus will be most noticeable for those who are less than 1x per level trained in the Combat Maneuvers skill.
Increased effectiveness of all the guild stances (available through the GLD STANCE command) for reducing one's defenses for guild training.
Increased success rates across the board for CML ranks 1 and 2 (and their equivalent guild ranks).
Changed the CML Mobility bonus to be more heavily influenced by spell ranks known by the character in the Ranger spell list.
Decreased the difficulty of training with the skilled masters in the guilds.
Fixed a bug where injury penalties were being messaged as a bonus (they were being applied correctly, just messaged wrong).
Fixed a bug where the target of a maneuver attack being immobile was not being correctly handled (targets were still keeping their stance bonuses if they were in a non-offensive stance).
Added messaging of the open roll value to better allow for players to determine their likelihood of success.
