I'm assuming it is a rodent. Anyone know what this thing is? It was hanging out munching weeds by my garage this afternoon.

Additional info:
They're also often called groundhogs. When they're riled up they'll click their teeth at you. Our dogs like to eat them but they tend to mess the dogs up pretty good in the process. They're hilarious to watch run.

Could also be a muskrat. They generally live near water.
Groundhog.
If you have any outdoor pets, groundhogs have the capacity to severely fuck them up.
