Im a huge baseball fan and im so annoyed with the Twins and the cable companies here. The Twins trying to make more money made their own tv station called Victory Sports One. Which would be fine with me BUT they want so much money from the cable companies that the ones around here are balking at it. So now im stuck with no Twins baseball on tv except for maybe one every other week. Im gonna pull my hair out in frustration if this doesnt get resolved soon. I missed Jacque Jones's 2 run 9th inning bomb to tie it up.

Here's an idea: Find a real sport to watch.

The hockey playoffs are starting, yanno. Being from Minnesota, you two should appreciate that, even though the Wild blew this year.

Oh man I feel your pain. 1993 Phils was arguably the most fun season to watch for any Philly's fan, back then they were on Prism for all the home games (which is what Starz the movie channel used to be.) My dad wouldn't get it because money was tight, used to have to listen to all their home games on the radio or get my dad to go to the game with me. My dad finally gave in when he realized how good they were doing, about halfway through the season.

Now they're all on Comcast Sports Network, great station.

I miss Prism. It had sports and movies, it was such a great channel.

Yeah, Flyers were on them too weren't they? I'm not even sure if 93 was the last year Prism had the games on them.. I was so young those memories are all lumped together.

We used to have to do the same thing in FL with the Marlins. They got on with Sunshine Network, but money was tight so I used to listen to the game every night at dinner. If the Marlins had the day off, my father would grumble alot, but put it on the Braves radio network.

Good times.

The Marlins have fans? :?:

Seriously, though, I can relate somewhat because for the last two years I was living down in St. Louis and couldn't catch any Cubs games. Luckily (or unluckily?) I was able to watch the playoff games on network TV last year.

Sort of like new york is still pretending like the mets might be any more than a last place team.

Yeah it's not like Jersey won two out of the last four and three out of the last nine cups.

I mean if they did that maybe they might know something about hockey, but until then they should just get back to cleaning their most recent superfund site.

When peam bashes baseball and says watch football i understand. Football is a lot more popular but c'mon hockey? Even baseball is more popular. Hell i bet NASCAR or WWE is too.
