Has anybody successfully scripted ranged hunting with a bow/crossbow?
I can't think of a good way to not run out of ammo... I guess you could just fletch to 100 arrows every time you rested... I dunno, just seems like a huge waste of time, but I do remember how awesome my ranged rogue was.

Couldn't you just buy more arrows at the end of each hunt?

I'm altering sammu to refill your arrows to XX amount with a command. Run that as a rest script and you should be good to go.

I was thinking about that too, and that'd be the best way to go... Just leave wood & stuff on the bench or something. Then it can pick up used arrows, forget about hidden ones.
Tough cause he should be picking when he's resting... freakin busy boy.
(It's not in my script yet though, cause I don't fully trust my picking scripts yet - and for good reason)
