So I put all my accounts on a billing hold last week, but yet for some reason Simu's still taking money out of my account.
I think I'm going to hurt someone.
Sounds like their trying to get that last dollar. Or maybe you were already well into the billig period when you put the accounts on hold.

Chances are you put them on hold right after you were billed, and it's just not showing up in your account til now. I know Simutronics charges don't show in my account for about a week.

Good afternoon.
I would like to place my accounts on
billing hold. I really cannot afford them right now, as I just
switched jobs and am in a very tight spot financially right now. But
I hope to remedy this soon and return as a customer.
If you could do this for me and e-mail me to confirm, I would be very
appreciative.
Thank you in advance
As you have already paid for the month, your account will be closed on, 4/5/04, and the account on 4/24/04. Your characters will be safe for 1 year.

I was billed on 4/5/04 for an extra character slot on an account that is supposed to be closed.

The email says they'll close them when the billing cycle starts since I already paid for the month. But I didn't want any new charges...

Did you intend to include your last name in that letter? I am a worry wart maybe but why don't you X it out because you just never know...

It's in my e-mail address anyway. Why bother.

Shouldn't have done that either, remember the whole 'double billing' due to extra characters not being up to date. Kill Simu!

Woot! Now i have both her Act. Names, her E-mail address, her home town, her last name, and even her birthday (October 23, 1980)..... considering her birthday is prolly her password for her e-mail or some variation on it all I need to do is ask everyone to reset her passwords, have them e-mail them to her.... oh wait, I got out of that buisness! Muhahahah

They gave me my money back.
And... wouldn't it be much easier just to ask me for the characters I no longer play/care about?

You really think the only thing you have to worry about is your account safety? Ha. I don't have to be a hacker to get information you never intended to give out:
Various companies offer services online that provide address, criminal, civil, and professional history as well as a list of assets and bank account numbers. Also available are the Social Security number, last six addresses, current phone number as well as names and phone numbers of neighbors.
This can be accomplished with just the information listed in that letter. No need to make ID theft easier than it already is for crooks.

ID theft with what money/credit?
And why do you all have to act like such smartasses?

So you don't have money/credit to steal. What about criminal charges that could be brought against you if someone steals your ID and misuses it? Let's face it, the only reason someone WOULD want to steal your ID is to misuse it.
And how is concern for you being a smartass?
