OK quick question, cos I'm planning to move in one of those areas towards the end of this summer. First I was going to move to St. Pete's where my family is, but I figured that the Burg is way too erm...ghetto. I'd be moving out of the ghetto right into another one, so I scratched St. Pete's right off the list.
Some of my friends are moving to Ft. Lauderdale towards the end of this year. They said there's always something going on and it's quite nice. What I wanna know how is it around those areas. Like, living, job, ect. Basically everything. Cos I'd like to know before I make definite plans.
I checked out some of the apts. around those areas and they are amazingly low. Would it be cos wages are low there? Anyway, any form of feed back would be helpful. Thx.

What's snow?
Tuesday: Mostly cloudy. High around 75F. Winds ESE at 10 to 15 mph.

I have some people who stay in that area, but I'd have to ask them about your questions. I only visit every so often.

See that's exactly why I wanna move to FL. I hate my parents for ever moving to MA from Cali.

I guess I'm a freak. I have my snow hating moments but I could never live in a place where I could wear a tee shirt around Christmas time. It just seems so....evil.

My son moved to Miami last fall for school. His apartment is cute and he pays 650. a month. Lots to do in Miami and I don't know what you do for a living but the wages are low. He likes it though, its a party city.

St. Pete IS ghetto... some parts. There are other towns around St. Pete though.. Clearwater, Tampa, Dunedin, etc... that are nice. If you are a beach nut... there IS nothing like gulf coast beaches though. Powder white sand and gentle waves.
I love Tampa.
